Guided relaxation sessions aim to reduce this sustained activation and support autonomic regulation. Each session takes place in a calm clinical environment and is guided by a specialist.
In our clinic we offer two complementary methods:
Guided breathing exercises involve slow, structured breathing patterns practiced in a seated or reclined position. The rhythm and depth of breathing are gently guided to stabilize respiratory patterns, reduce muscular tension, and support a shift toward parasympathetic regulation. The exercises are adapted to the individual’s health status and require no prior experience.
Sound-based relaxation with Tibetan singing bowls is a passive technique. While the patient rests comfortably, soft, sustained tones are produced in a controlled manner. The stable, repetitive sound patterns create a predictable sensory environment that may help reduce cognitive overstimulation and facilitate deep physical and mental relaxation.
Together, these approaches provide a focused period of guided recovery for the nervous system within a supervised clinical setting.
Guided relaxation sessions may be appropriate for individuals experiencing persistent stress, fatigue, muscular tension, or sleep disturbances, as well as for those who find it difficult to achieve a sustained state of physical and mental relaxation.
They may also serve as supportive care during or following intensive therapeutic processes, particularly in situations involving prolonged emotional or psychological strain.
